Turning Of The Tide (Natalie and Trevon) novel Chapter 659

Not long after, Jasper's car arrived at the studio's entrance.

The car had just stopped, and before Jasper could turn off the engine, Olivia had already opened the door and hopped out of it. She went straight to the studio and walked in before walking back out. She looked up at the logo on the door.

She walked in again and asked, "Ruby, does the name of your studio have any meaning?"

After saying that, Olivia carefully sized up Ruby's outfit today. Ruby was a gentle, beautiful, fashionable, delicate, yet tough career-type woman.

Olivia sighed inwardly again and thought something was wrong with her brother's eyes. It was such a pity he failed to recognize Ruby's qualities and be a couple with her.

Ruby glanced at the man who came in through the door. His outfit was tight on the inside and loose on the outside. It was fashionable and charmingly comfortable to look at. Despite wearing understated clothes, his elegance and handsomeness could not be concealed. Since Ruby started designing, she had subconsciously sized up everyone's clothes.

Jasper's dark and deep eyes met Ruby's clear, gentle, and beautiful eyes for a few seconds.

Ruby averted her gaze and passed the milkshake on the table to Olivia. She explained naturally, "My surname is Blackwell. The last letter is the initial of my name, Ruby. It's not as complicated as you think."

Ruby handed the coffee to Jasper with a smile on her face and tenderness in her eyes. "Brother, here's your coffee."

Jasper's eyes darkened and he reached out his slender fingers to take it. "Thank you."

Olivia took a big sip of the cold milkshake and automatically translated, "It's delicious. Doesn't that mean you're the Blackwell family's only Ruby?"

"You can put it that way. Why are you here today? Didn't you go to the cemetery this morning?" Ruby asked. She handed a cup of cold milkshake to Winnie and picked up a cup of milkshake to drink. Some lipstick was stained on the white paper straw.

Ruby's assistant, Winnie, took the milkshake and glanced at Jasper before hiding at the bar counter again.

As the two women conversed, Jasper was like an outsider. He did not interrupt them. After sizing up Ruby's attire for a few seconds, he sat on the small sofa and casually flipped through the catalog. He held a cup of coffee, took a sip, and placed it on the coffee table. It was as if he was really there to look at his suit today.

Olivia wandered around the large studio with the milkshake in her hand. She would take a sip from time to time. Ruby brought her around and opened every door for her to see.

"I went to the cemetery in the morning. After that, I came over. My brother said he wanted to see the style of the suit, so we came over together."

Ruby smiled and emphasized the word "Brother." "Yes, Brother just took the measurements yesterday. The style hasn't been decided yet. He can take a look today. Brother, there's a catalog over there. You may take a look."

Upon hearing that, Jasper stopped drinking his coffee. Today, Ruby had called him brother again and again loudly and piercingly. He felt annoyed by that form of address, but he agreed good-naturedly. "Okay."

Ruby brought Olivia to the storage room to look at the fabrics and exhibition area. After the explanation, Olivia, who had seen everything, praised, "This place is really well done. Ruby, is this renovation European-style?"

From the renovation, one could tell that it was luxurious. It also showed that it had cost a lot to customize the studio. It could be seen that it was a high-end private customization.

Ruby replied, "Yes."

Then, Ruby turned around and took the fabric sample that Winnie had taken out yesterday. Ruby sat opposite Jasper and asked, "Brother, look at this fabric. Can your suit be made with this material?"

Jasper thought, 'She called me brother again. She is really addicted to calling me that.' He picked up his coffee and took a sip to moisten his throat. He took a small piece of fabric and rubbed it between his fingertips. It felt good. He said calmly, "Yes, sure. Do as you see fit."

The sofa caved in. Olivia sat down on the sofa with the milkshake in her hands. She snatched the fabric from Jasper's hand and touched it. She held it in the air. With the naked eye, she could still see the sequins in the fabric. They were thin, but when she got closer, she could see they were beautiful. "This fabric is not bad. Jasper, it will definitely look good when made into a suit. Have you chosen a style?"

Jasper replied, "No, you can decide on the style."

"Sure." Ruby accepted it without hesitation.

She bent over and wanted to sit down. At this moment, her light blue ribbon came loose, and her curled brown hair fell down. A strand of hair brushed across the back of Jasper's hand as he flipped through the catalog. It felt itchy, as though a feather was brushing against his heart.

He looked up with a faint smile. Ruby's eyes were as clear as water. She was already tying her hair, and the ribbon was tied to her hair again, falling naturally.

She tidied up the bangs on both sides of her face and placed a black pen on the coffee table. She looked at Olivia and smiled. "Olivia, didn't you say that you like this white cardigan on me? I'll buy one for you later. There are two colors, white and black. Which color do you like?"

Jasper stared at Ruby without blinking. It was as if he wanted to imprint her current appearance in his mind. After looking at Ruby for about a minute and realizing that she hadn't looked at him the entire time, he retracted his gaze and continued to flip through the catalog.

Ruby glanced at Jasper from the corner of her eye and smiled faintly. She was still looking at Olivia, waiting for an answer.

Olivia had always liked light-colored clothes. "White, just like yours. When the time comes, we'll wear it together. It'll be a sister outfit."

Ruby thought for a moment. "Should I buy one for Sophia, too?"

Olivia quickly refused and kept waving her hand. "Ruby, please don't. Sophia will take the outfit and ask you to change it to a green or short style. It's better not to trouble yourself."

Ruby was amused by Olivia's words. But then she thought it was true that the delicate style was not suitable for Sophia's personality. It was not an outfit meant for fighting.

Jasper, who was sitting opposite, also subconsciously curled up the corners of his lips.

Jasper and Olivia had lunch in the studio. At around one in the afternoon, Olivia and Jasper left the studio and went to the Wilson Group.

The Wilson Group.

Olivia walked side by side with Jasper to the elevator for senior executives. They walked into the elevator under everyone's gaze after they got past the facial recognition check. Some people were already whispering.

The two of them were used to it and didn't comment. They walked toward their father's office.

When they passed by the secretary department, they met Jim, who was also preparing to enter Trevon's office. Olivia greeted Jim politely, "Hello, Mr. Hawk."

Jasper nodded as a polite greeting.

Jim responded with a smile. After getting married and becoming a father, Jim appeared to be more mature and steady. "Miss Wilson, you are here. Mr. Wilson has asked me countless times in the afternoon if you're here."

Olivia smiled. "My dad misses me. I'll go in."

Jim was the last to enter, following behind Jasper. He thought that Jasper's expressionless face was really similar to Trevon's. Jasper also had a quiet personality.

It was like a small party was held in the office. Trevon had long asked Jim to prepare snacks, milkshakes, and cakes.

Jasper took off his windbreaker and sat on the sofa with his legs wide open. He narrowed his eyes and looked at the snacks on the coffee table, feeling speechless.
