Turning Of The Tide (Natalie and Trevon) novel Chapter 711

As Ruby said, Priscilla promoted another assistant a month later.

This move surprised those who were already envious and disheartened. Paula, who had been working hard and had not lost her fighting spirit, got the assistant position.

Paula was happy, so she treated Ruby and Winnie to lunch that day to celebrate the progress of her career. She also thanked Ruby for her advice.

Half a month later.

Jasper's first kindergarten opened grandly. This was something that the Wilson family had never dabbled in.

The more companies there were, the busier Jasper became. From time to time, Jasper would go on business trips, and accidents would always happen. Perhaps it was predestined by fate.

On this business trip, Jasper did not take a private plane out. Instead, he bought a first-class cabin. Due to the severe flu recently, both captains were infected. Jasper had no choice but to buy a ticket to take the plane.

He could have borrowed a private plane from his uncle-in-law, but Jasper felt it was interesting to sit in first class.

Athana Airport was full of people. Trevon, Natalie, Frank, Ava, Sherri, Hackett, and Ruby were all there, whose faces were covered with nervousness and worry.

Natalie, who had always been calm, was so nervous that her palms were sweating. Half an hour ago, Jasper's flight encountered airflow and could not land. The plane had already been delayed for thirty minutes, and the inquiry results were not optimistic.

Seeing that Natalie's shoulders were tense, Trevon comforted her, but he started to panic, too. However, he looked calm on the surface. To reassure Natalie, he said, "It's okay. Your son's life is tough."

Sherri's eyes were filled with tears. She raised her hand to wipe them away and patted her best friend's shoulder. She also began to comfort Natalie. "Don't worry. Jasper will be safe."

Ava's vision was also blurry. She held Frank's hand tightly. It was enough to see that she was flustered. Feeling Ava's nervousness, Frank held her hand back tightly.

"Natalie, let's wait a little longer. Maybe Jasper will arrive soon." Everyone hoped nothing would happen.

Natalie nodded and uttered the word "Okay" with difficulty.

Hackett stood at the side and pursed his lips without saying a word. He no longer had his usual arrogance and sloppy attitude. He was also praying. He thought, 'Boy, you'll be my son-in-law if you can return safely.'

Ruby's palms were red from her nails. She clenched her fists tightly and stared at the exit without blinking. She hoped the next person to come out would be the one she was missing. More and more tears fell from the corners of her eyes. Ava walked over to help wipe them and said softly, "Don't worry, he'll be fine."

Half an hour later.

Suddenly, Trevon's phone received a message from an unknown number. After reading the message, he smiled and felt relieved.

Just as everyone was panicking and trying not to think of the worst-case scenario before Trevon could say the content of the message, a tall man in a black suit came out of the exit. He was pushing his suitcase with one hand and holding his phone with the other. It was Jasper.

When he walked through the exit, he saw his parents, aunt, uncle, future parents-in-law, and girlfriend at the airport.

Before Jasper could react, everyone rushed forward. The fastest was Ruby. At that moment, she could not care less. She ran to Jasper and hugged him tightly.

It was as if she could only feel his safety and reality by hugging him like that. She was afraid she would lose him if she let go, and her eyes hot from tears.

Due to the impact, Jasper subconsciously took a few steps back. His first reaction was to hug Ruby back. He held Ruby's waist with one hand and hid the phone in his pocket with the other. He held the back of her head and felt her uneasiness. He asked gently, "What's wrong?"

Trevon and Natalie were gratified to see the scene. On the other hand, Frank looked at Hackett with great interest. Hackett was wordless out of shock.

Sensing the burning gaze, Hackett turned his head and glanced at Frank, who smiled faintly. Hackett heaved a sigh of relief and suddenly understood something.

Nothing could compare to being safe and healthy. In an instant, he felt relieved.

Looking at the two hugging each other, Ava covered her mouth and smiled happily. Everything was fine now. It was great to see a rainbow after a storm. She held Frank's hand while Frank interlocked his fingers with hers and raised his hand to kiss hers.

It took Sherri a while to respond. She was so excited that she became the focus of the entire airport. Her voice was so high that there was even an echo. "That's great, that's great. From today onward, Jasper, I'll not be your godmother but mother-in-law!"

Seeing that her son had returned safely, the gloominess in Natalie's heart had dissipated. Natalie cheerfully hugged her best friend, who was grinning from ear to ear, and stopped persuading her to take it slow. "I have no objections. It depends on Jasper."

She would be delighted to have another person to love her son.

Since her best friend had no objections, Sherri turned around with a smile like a fool. "You keep your word. If you go back on your word, I'll destroy you, and we'll no longer be friends."

Natalie narrowed her eyes and asked, "When have I ever gone back on my word?"

Hackett was still staring at his daughter and future son-in-law, so Frank raised his eyebrows and teased, "Congratulations."

Hackett had complicated emotions at the moment. He could not describe what he was feeling. Logically speaking, when he saw his daughter hugging Jasper, he should have gone forward to pull her away. Yet, his feet felt full of lead, and they could not move. When he did not see Jasper, he had hoped Jasper would return safely.
