"And I nearly fell for it." Nina stopped walking. "Your boss must be planning something, isn't he?"

"How would I know what Mr. Crawford is doing?" Jason did not confirm it or deny it. He tried to shift the topic.

From Jason's response, Nina was even more sure that Luke was planning something. Otherwise, the scandal would not have broken out so abruptly.
