“Fine,” Percy clenched his teeth and agreed.

“And I’m not going back to that psychiatric hospital.” Karen’s eyes flickered with fear at the mention of it.

She was not mentally ill, yet Percy had forced her into that place with such heavy-handed methods. If she went back, there would be no way for her to ever leave again. The thought sent a shiver of terror through her.

For someone who was not sick, being confined to that kind of environment would drive them insane.
