“Hey, Xav. I don’t know what kind of relationship you have with Yvette right now, but she’s not the kind of person you think she is. If you don’t believe me, come to Junction Cafe at 10:00 pm tonight.”

Yvette was confused. She could have sworn that there was breakfast on the dining table. She brushed the thought aside and headed out with him nonetheless.

“What?” The thought of Daphne crossed her mind, but she feigned confusion.

Xavier’s eyes narrowed. He looked up at her serene expression and pursed his lips. “What plans?”
