Xavier was sitting in the backseat of the Maybach. He had been in the car the whole night, but Yvette hadn’t called him even once. 

When he saw her coming out, he rolled down the window. He looked exhausted. “Get in.” 

She thought he had just returned and was there to blame her for what had happened. So, she didn’t get in the car. “If you have something you want to say to me, you can do it right here.” Xavier–looked miserable as he said, “We still have half a month left to go.” 

Yvette’s eyes flashed with a hint of surprise, and she got in the car. He didn’t mention what had happened with Daphne at all, and she didn’t ask him why he had only just returned. 

After the driver started the engine, Xavier said, “Let’s return to Lane Mansion today.” Yvette didn’t understand what was going on. “Why are we going there?” 

“There’s a holiday coming up in a few days.” He paused for a moment and continued, “Didn’t you always say that you wanted to stay at the mansion with me?” 

She was quiet for a while. Yvette wanted to tell him that she didn’t care about the mansion. The reason she had wanted to stay there back then was because she had wanted to be by his side. 

However, it had been so long, and she didn’t want that anymore. There was no chance for them to be together anymore. 

She had thought about it for a long time last night. Even if she didn’t manage to get pregnant this time, she still had his semen. So, she had opportunities to get pregnant. 

As for Noah, now that she had a map of Fortian Manor, she knew how to get him out of there.

“No. You may leave us now.” 

Xavier hated how the mansion was filled with housekeepers. That was also the reason he had moved out of there and started living alone when he had been younger. 

After Lynn awkwardly left, Yvette and Xavier went to his room in no time. It was a monochromatic room that was as simple as Xavier.
