Chapter 335
Zachary immediately panicked when he saw Yvette upset. He gently hugged her and patted her back with his tiny hands. “Mom, Noah and I will never leave you. No one will take us away.”
Yvette, comforted by Zachary’s words, held him tightly. “Thank you, Zac.”
Yvette seldom hugged Zachary since he rarely acted like a child with her. Whenever she tried to, he would always pridefully refuse her.
Secretly, though, Zachary loved her hugs, even if he was too shy to admit it. His face flushed like it was on fire as he asked, “Mom, should we trick him into thinking I’m Noah?”
Yvette was surprised at how perceptive her young son was. “No need. He already knows I have twins.” She didn’t want Zachary to lie.
Zachary thought for a moment. “Okay, then. I won’t voluntarily tell him I’m Zachary. Is that okay?”
“That’s fine,” Yvette agreed. They made a pact, and Zachary felt relieved, grateful she didn’t blame him.
A knock on the door interrupted them. “Yvvy.” It was Viola.
Yvette quickly opened the door.
Zachary went with her. “Grandma,” he greeted Viola.
Viola wasn’t surprised to see Zachary; she had heard the conversation outside earlier. Smiling, she greeted Zachary and took him to get some treats.
Yvette then went to the living room, where Xavier was waiting for her on the couch. “Xavier, it’s not too
late for you to regret this. We can divorce. I won’t ask for anything.”
Xavier looked up in her direction. “Yvvy, didn’t you say the baby you’re carrying isn’t mine?”
Yvette froze at those words.
“Having one more child now doesn’t change things much.” Xavier paused. “Mark said you had twins. You can bring the other twin over; I can afford to take care of another one.”
Yvette couldn’t believe this was the same proud Xavier she had once known. How could he be willing
to raise another man’s child?
While Yvette remained silent, Xavier stood up and walked to her, gently grasping her arm. “I brought him back because I thought you’d miss him,” he explained softly.
Recalling how cold he used to be, Yvette pulled away. “You don’t need to do this. Things between us ended a long time ago. Your family is the only reason we’re still living together.”
With that, she went upstairs to prepare a room for Zachary.
Meanwhile, Zachary was enjoying snacks with Viola as he kept an eye on Yvette. When Yvette left and Viola went to get some rest, he sneaked over to Xavier, who was working on his laptop.
The screen was filled with intricate code.

Curious, Zachary stole a glance and noticed how exceptionally detailed the codes were.
What exactly was his bastard father doing? Was he really blind?
Just as Zachary was about to reach out to test it out, Xavier suddenly grabbed him by the collar from
