Daphne had happened to overhear the last sentence, and she couldn’t help but find it a little strange. 

Mark wasn’t the type to gossip. He only exchanged a few words with her and didn’t tell her about 

Yvette’s return. 

Daphne didn’t pursue the matter further, but she secretly held a grudge against Mark. 

She then walked straight to Xavier. “Xav, Madam Shannon wants us to have dinner together tonight.” 

It was obvious that it would be another occasion where they urged Xavier and Daphne to get married and 

have children soon. 

Xavier replied without looking up. “Got it.” 

Hearing this, Daphne sat on the couch in the office. “I’m free today, so I’ll wait here for you.” 

Xavier narrowed his eyes at her. “Are you that free?”
