Yvette was stunned. Then, she heard Michael bellowing in rage on the other end of the line. "Who's the father? I'm going to kill him!"
Then, there were sounds of vases and other items being smashed. Zachary heard it too, and he hurriedly said, "Let's talk later, Mom. I'm going to check on Kiki now and stop Mr. Torres from punishing her."
"Alright…"
After Zachary ended the call, he went out of the bedroom.
Kiki was lying on the couch without a care in the world, while Michael was furiously throwing things on the ground. Although he was smashing vases, he was being careful not to hurt her.
"Dad, please stop asking about it. I don't know who the father is either. After all, we just met once."
She yawned and said, "So, stop trying to set me up with Tristan. Don't even arrange dates for me. Those rich guys aren't going to accept a woman with a child like me."
Michael hadn't expected her not to know who the father of her child was. He felt disgraced.
"You! How could you do this? How am I supposed to show my face to other people now? I'm going to kill you today! Do you really not know who that bastard belongs to? If so, I'm going to kick him out!"
Then, he lifted his hand and was about to slap Kiki. Zachary hurriedly stepped forward and tugged Michael's shirt. "Gramps, please don't hit Mom. If you're mad, you can hit me!"
He looked serious as he puffed his chest out. When Michael saw how responsible Zachary looked despite not even reaching his knees, his heart melted. Zachary was smart and sensible.
