The comments online were getting out of hand. Even after the news was removed, people were still talking about it. Everyone had already forgotten all about Daphne, but she now became infamous again after making the news once more.
Tristan saw the news as well and was confused. He wondered who was the one who leaked the photos when Daphne had died at the asylum. After all, no one else knew that she'd been sent to the asylum, let alone about the fire.
Then, he started wondering if it was Xavier's enemies from the past.
He walked out after closing the news and saw Kiki alone outside. He got closer to her and realized she was plucking the grass. "What are you doing?" he asked in confusion.
She stopped plucking the grass and looked up at him. When she saw his lazy expression, she thought about the news again. "It's none of your business," she said angrily.
She was feeling furious on behalf of Yvette after seeing the news. Who wouldn't mind when their partners were exposed through photos like that?
Seeing how a whole patch of grass was about to be removed, Tristan said, "If you're feeling too bored, why don't you come with me to Lane Mansion?"
Kiki had no intention of being nice to him at first. But when she heard that he was thinking of taking her to Lane Mansion, she looked up and asked, "Really?"
She was confused. When Archibald had told Tristan to take her to visit some relatives, the latter had rejected the idea. She didn't understand why he'd had a change of heart.
"Yeah. Bring Zac along, too. We can go together." Tristan wanted to ask Xavier what was going on. He also wanted to see the latter's son.
"Forget about Zac. Let's go by ourselves." Kiki rejected the idea immediately. She was worried that the truth might be exposed if Zachary joined them, too.
"We have to bring him along." He ignored her and returned to the house to look for Zachary. He figured the smart boy could make him look better if they visited Xavier's son together.
At that moment, Zachary was playing chess with Archibald. When Archibald noticed he was going to lose, he knocked himself on the head. "No, this doesn't count. Let's play again."
