People were coming and going in the spacious hall.
But at this moment, the hall was silent because of the aura about James.
Everyone liked to hear the tea, but not the tea on James. His gloomy expression indicated that any audience would be in trouble.
When questioned closely by James, the deputy director of the sales department could not speak. Her glib tongue seemed to be sealed.
"Are you a mute?"
"She soiled the floor and ordered me not to step on it. President, I just wanted to remind her to clean it up quickly."
James sneered and glanced at the deputy director's high heels.
"You care too much about your shoes. Now run a hundred laps around this building and then clean up every corner of the building."
"Mr. James, it's not my fault. Why should I run?"
At the thought of running in high heels, the deputy director felt her legs went weak before she got started.
It seemed that the president was even going to transfer her to the logistics department to be a cleaner.
"You're not satisfied with a hundred laps? How about a thousand?"
The area covered by the SA Group building was not small. With the park beside the building, a lap could mean about two miles round.
Hearing James's words, the deputy director collapsed to the ground.
"Which department are you from?" James asked the woman next to the deputy director.
The woman covered her mouth in surprise when she found the president was talking to her. "Mr. James, I, I am from the Sales Department."
"Supervise her while she was running. If she runs one lap less, you will be punished with ten laps!"
The female employee of the sales department stared, with a bitter face, at the deputy director who was sitting on the ground.
She suffered because of other's fault.
James glanced at the crowd. Everyone was scared, lowered their heads, and then left, pretending that nothing had happened.
Standing beside James, Kara was also frightened by the aura around him. She lowered her head and clenched her hands with fear.
James looked back at Kara and noticed that the little fool was scared by him.
He took a deep breath and restrained himself. And then he carried Kara in his arms without a word, walking up the stairs.
"Uncle James, my bag..."
"Shut up. I will deal with you later!"
Kara struggled in his arms to go for her little bag. James gritted his teeth with annoyance. He took two steps back and carried her little bag on the back.
"Nolan, clean up the mess!"
Nolan, who only got downstairs for a moment, was speechless.
Kara pursed her lips and covered her face with a coat in embarrassment, in case that others could see her face.
Kathleen, who was upstairs, saw James carrying a woman into the office and stared at the woman in his arms in surprise.
"James, who is she?"
James did not give her a single glance. He carried the woman in his arms into his lounge.
When he worked overtime, he would stay in the lounge.
In terms of quality of life, James would never mistreat himself, so the lounge had almost everything.
He carried the little fool into the bathroom and threw his clothes to her.
"Take a good bath. We'll talk about the things later!"
James gritted his teeth as he spoke, as if Kara would be punished if she did not tell him the truth.
Kara's heart trembled as James slammed the bathroom door. Looking at the clothes in her hand, Kara could still smell the faint scent of mint. She was shy and blushing.
Kathleen followed after them, and when she saw the woman enter the bathroom, she got angry.
"James, shouldn't you explain it?"
James walked by without looking at her. Hearing her words, he frowned in confusion.
"Explain what?"
Kathleen clenched her fists and complained with red eyes, "We are going to be engaged in a week, but now you are carrying a woman into your bathroom. Do you take me seriously?"
