Kara saw that her name was written in his marriage contract.
It came as a bolt from the blue and she was in a mess.
It was completely different from what she had thought!
Kara was very confused. Why did James want to marry her?
He had loved someone.
Was it because she had lied to Zoey, so he had to marry her to patch up her lie?
Kara suddenly felt guilty. If so, it was her fault.
"Little fool, I'm talking to you. Why are you distracted?"
"I, I didn't!" Kara argued.
Kara bit her lip and glared at him with a grievance.
"If you are not distracted, then you are ready to accept me."
"I..."
Kara wanted to refute, but looking at James' sharp eyes, she couldn't summon up the courage to do so.
James laughed.
He laughed at himself when he saw her wary look.
Although he wanted to do something to her, seeing that, he stopped.
Back at the villa, Libby came over worriedly. Seeing that Kara keep her head down and even covered her mouth with her hand, she became even more worried.
"Mrs. Hemming, what happened?"
Kara did not want to say it.
Could Kara say that she had gotten married without knowing it?
"Libby, Kara and I are married. Let's add some dishes today."
She had signed the marriage contract. If she was old enough, he would have taken her to register their marriage.
"What?" Libby was surprised. It took a while for her to recover from astonishment.
'Since Mr. James was determined to be with Kara, getting married is just a matter of time,' she thought.
Libby was happy about that, she nodded and went to the kitchen.
Kara was ashamed and indignant. She gritted her teeth but was still a little afraid of James.
"James, you married me because I've lied in front of your grandma, and you had no choice but to put on an act, right?"
James stopped walking upstairs, not expecting that she thought his marriage to be an act.
The little fool needed to be taught a lesson!
"Acting? Whom am I acting for?"
"Your grandma!" Kara replied as if it was a matter of course.
"So why don't I just find a more sensible woman, but ask a girl as silly as you to be my wife?"
Kara bit her lip and could not argue with that.
He was right that she was not that smart. But it sounded hurtful.
"I'm stupid, but you married me anyway. Does it mean you have a bad judgment?" Kara said.
James took a deep breath and suppressed his anger. He turned around and looked at her.
"Come here."
Seeing James crook his finger at her, Kara swallowed and her feet trembled in fear.
"What do you want to say, just say it!"
She forced herself to calm down and bravely looked up at him.
However, his gaze was too cold. She was stressed out but walked up to him anyway.
James reached her, dragged her toward him, and pinched her face.
"Little fool, don't you to marry me?"
