Mia said nothing and twisted her fingers. In the face of Sam Charles, she couldn't find a word to say. If she didn’t get used to this home, she didn't want to see him again.
Sam didn't care much, and looked at her up and down for a while, "Where have you gone? You called me earlier and said you’re back. Why did you arrive so late?"
She didn’t to answer and went straight to the house.
“Mia Charles, come back now!” Sam roared running over. His body crooked, his mouth crooked even more obviously, "Your dad raised you! And you ignore me now?”
Mia stopped, staring at her foster father. Her heart was pounding, she was biting lips without saying a word. Sam said no more and stretched out his hairy hand to Mia, "Bring it."
"Bring...what?" Frowning lightly, she asked.
Sam glanced dissatisfiedly, "Money! You’re useless, half a month and nothing. They only gave one million of 5 million final payment. Did they give the rest of money to you? Well, they said two million for a baby, five for a son..."
His words were too rude, and Mia wanted to cover her ears. He sold his own daughter, and now, without even saying “Hi”, he went straight to business, asking about money. She couldn’t help crying, but her heart was strong enough to say one word, “No!” Saying that, she walked toward the corridor.
Sam came close and dragged Mia to the same place she was standing before. Starring at her with two wide-open bronze eyes he shouted, “You forgot your fucking dad raised you! And what’s now? Now its dad’s time to spend your money, this is how it should be. You don’t wanna give it or what?”
