In William’s heart, whether Sophia’s hair was curly or straight, whether she was healthy or sick, for him she was the most beautiful, the woman he loved more than everything.
Sophia, like a gentle kitten, let William stroke her hair.
Since childhood, they have enjoyed this very much. William made excuses to come close to Sophia, then he pulled her hair and kept on playing. Thinking of the past, William’s mouth slightly raised, and he smiled again, “Sophia, do still remember the road near the mountain? One day I fall down, and you actually said you would save me…”
Sophia stiffened slightly and said impatiently, “I’ve forgotten everything about the past. Everything.” For a moment William felt abandoned. He found out that Sophia didn't like to mention the things they had when they were young. The memories didn’t seem to impress her much.
Sophia noticed the change in William and looked up, holding his big hand, "William, I'm sorry, I have something in my heart, so..."
"It's okay," He always gave his most beautiful smiles to Sophia. No one would think that William Brown, who was always cold to others, was so gentle to his wife.
Sophia wrinkled a small face and put half of her body in his arms, feeling his breath so close, her eyes were full of affection. She took a deep breath and whispered stiffly, “William, the results came out. That woman isn’t pregnant.”
"No... no." Sophia looked nervous, shaking her head again and again, tears were rolling down her face. Although she denied it, it was easy for others to see all her pain. Sure enough, it was her! William took his phone and dialed a number. Sophia reached out nervously and said, "William, don't do this! Your mom really didn't say anything, really! It's me, I feel so useless, I even can't give you and your family a child, can’t be your wife, I can’t do anything!”
The tears were falling on William’s hand and he felt like they were falling right into his heart, like a pouring rain. His chest was tingling. Suddenly hugging her, he moved closer and said softly, “Sophia, why are you always so kind? You always care about others but never care about yourself. Sophia, what should I do with you?”
Sophia smoothed William’s black hair, letting him hold her closer, and put her lips away from his charming smile, “William, as long as you don't blame me, I don't care about the rest.”
