Uncontrollable Fondness novel Chapter 15

William’s heart fall into pieces, his mouth was sore with pain. His hands were shaking, and the knuckles were pale as never before, “Do you know this medicine is hard to drink? Is there any other way? Have you found someone for bone marrow transplantation?”

Listening to the doctor, he frowned and finally said in a low voice, "Really no other way? Okay, I’ll talk to her.”

He hung up the phone. His eyebrows were unable to loosen up, he pursed his lips and said with irresistible rage, "How you drive! Faster!”

East Flanders Mountain…Brown’s family home was built along this mountain. Surrounded by

beautiful mountains and blue waters, the house occupied extremely large area. The huge black lacquered iron door revealed the story of the previous dynasties, although it has remained intact for hundreds of years. Inside the house was spacious and full of light. Many modern elements were added into its interior, giving a glimpse of The European style. The integration of family history and modern European design conceptions showed the strong power of Brown’s family.

Bur now the living room was a mess. The delicate blue-and-white porcelain bowl shattered on the floor. Broken bowl shards were everywhere, mixed with some brown liquid with strong medicine smell. The liquid was quickly spreading, staining the originally bright granite floor and soaking into the Russian printed carpet in front of the sofa.

The servants bowed their heads and said nothing, one of them was trembling with fear.

“What’s going on here?” William asked coldly. He didn't want to come back and see that mess again. A pale but very beautiful woman ran over and plunged into his arms, "Will, you are finally back."

His cold face softened for a while. He touched woman's thin shoulders, his voice was soft and low, afraid to scare her, “Sophia, what happened?”

Sophia looked up from his arms, winked innocently with her sparkling eyes, glanced at the poor servants, and whispered, "William, can I stop taking medicine? It's so bitter.”
