While chatting with Cedric, Finnian had his gaze fixed on the window, not even sparing a glance towards her. On the other hand, Liliana couldn’t help but steal glances at her, despite her best efforts to hide it. It was clear to everyone that Liliana wasn’t thrilled.

"Hey, what's up with you?" Keith shot Liliana a sidelong look. "Amara's the one who took a dip, yet you look like you're the one who got drenched. Is the pain contagious now?"

Earlier today, Nora had accidentally knocked Amara into the pool, and her mask came off, revealing her face to the entire film crew, especially Finnian. It was obvious to anyone with half a brain that Liliana had a hand in this.

Keith's annoyance with Liliana had hit its peak, and he wouldn't miss a chance to poke at her.

Liliana forced a smile. "There's no such thing as pain transfer, Keith. You're quite the jokester."

Keith chuckled dryly. "Well, if we're talking jokes, you're the real deal. Almost laughed someone to death."

That remark was a bit harsh, and Liliana's face stiffened. Amara nudged Keith gently, "Take it easy."

She wasn’t worried about Liliana Porter’s feelings; she just felt off and wanted some peace and quiet, hence her words.

Keith immediately softened, whispering, "Alright, alright, I'll zip it, okay?"

His demeanor shifted a complete 180 degrees between Liliana and Amara. Finnian finally glanced over, though his expression was unreadable.

Soon, they arrived at the hospital. After a thorough examination, the doctor confirmed Amara was mostly fine, but she had a slight fever. They decided an IV would be best, so Amara was settled into a private room for treatment.

Keith got a call from another film set, summoning him for urgent business. After giving Amara some words of caution, he left the hospital.
