Vincent saw how quickly Tiffany had turned red, and he felt strangely happy.
He could smell the slight scent of soap on her, and the lovely time they'd had on that camping trip flashed through his mind. His emotions intensified, and his body reacted accordingly.
Vincent looked away, trying to distract himself, but all he could think of was how alluring she had been that night. He could not stop his thoughts from wandering.
As the elevator was fully packed, people began getting off, and eventually a space began to clear. Finally, Vincent's voice rang out. "We're here."
Tiffany jolted back to her senses and followed him out of the elevator.
…
Anna was surprised but delighted to see Tiffany. She smiled kindly and pulled her down into a seat. "It's you, Tiff!"
"I heard that you were feeling unwell, so I came to visit you, Mrs. Lewis Senior." Tiffany put down the fruits and soup that she had brought. "Have you had breakfast? I brought you some soup."
"Really? I just so happened to be hungry right now."
Tiffany took out the soup and opened the lid of the container. A delicious aroma wafted into the air.
"It smells delicious." Anna couldn't wait to try it. She took two spoonfuls, and her eyes lit up. "Mm! It tastes great!"
"I bought this from a restaurant near our college. Apparently, they've been open for decades, and they've always been very popular. The restaurant is famous for its soup, and I get it whenever I'm sick. It always improves my appetite, so I brought some for you too."
"That's so thoughtful of you." Anna looked very pleased. "Although this soup is very tasty, it's still not as good as the soup that Teresa made."
