William explained, “The Home family is planning to develop a resort villa, and Patrick’s the one who’s in charge of the project. Karen was hired as the landscape architect for the project, and Patrick seems to have fallen for Karen at first sight. All in all, he’s been treating her extremely well ” 

Logan’s expression sank as he replied, “So, Karm has been targeting my wife ever since she returned to calendale. As for the plagiarism issue, I’ve already had my suspicions that Karen was the one who coped Lorraine’s designs before turning around to accuse Lorraine of plagiarism 

“Even though you haven’t found any evidence for my claims, I still think them to be true.” 

Willian remained silent as he was already on the same page as Logan. 

Although he only formally met with Lorraine once, he had already thoroughly investigated Lorraine’s background and her character. He was very well aware of her integrity as a person. 

Logan then ordered, “Throw the pastries away! 

“They’re from Moonlight Pastries, though. It would be a waste to throw them away just like that. Why not share them with the secretaries instead? Women love these little sweet 

Logan’s expression sank even further. “Can’t you afford to buy them yourself? Do you really want to treat them to pastries that the despicable woman sent us? “Alright, I get it, man! Belad I’ll throw the bag out right away!” 

William did not expect his friend to react so strongly to the pastries. He picked up the bag and headed out of the door before shouting for Fred “Fred? Come here!” Fred immediately appeared at the door to Logan’s office “Yes, Mr. Comell? 

William handed the bag of pastries to Fred and instructed, “Take this bag with you and head to the entrance. There will be a woman named Karen Stone hanging around the place. Return this bag to her and tell her that our CEO is not interested in her pastries. 

“If she refuses to take it back, just throw the entire bag onto the ground.” 

Fred stared at William in complete disbelief. 

Everyone knew that Logan hated having young women getting too close to him. And yet, William had accepted the bag of pastries from Karen on behalf of Logan, only for Fred to return the pastries. 

Fred quietly accepted the bag of pastries and left 

dosing the door to Logan’s office, William walked back to Logan “Man, Fred sure looked at me angry” 

Lopan snorted. “Tred has quite a good temper. If it were anybody else, they would’ve already thrown the bag right in your face.” 

“That can’t be true. I’m second only to you in the entire Moore Corporation.” 

Logan just smiled back at William. He knew that there were still certain folks who had never taken William seriously. 

“trick still managing any projects at the moment?” asked Logan 

“Probably, Why? Are you thinking of sabotaging his projects?”
