Elinor looked at Kemp with a smile which made him feel strange.
For she never showed such a look before. She was timid, weak, but never hypocritical.
"After Dad wakes up, let's go to the company to have a look."
She waved her hand at him, and then returned to her room. An hour later, Quincy woke up and looked downstairs. His son and daughter were sitting downstairs, playing games together. He felt in a trance that this life was quite good. At least he had two kids, and he didn't have to worry about the rest of his life.
However, it was lonely being alone.
"Elly, you got up so early today."
Quincy took a shower after he woke up, and then went downstairs. Elinor made a cup of coffee for him and asked, "What breakfast do you want?"
"Spaghetti."
"Fine."
Then she went to the kitchen and cooked for him. Quincy and Kemp looked at each other with disbelief.
What's the matter? She changed a lot. She looked quite mature now.
After twenty minutes, she took out two plates of spaghetti, put them in front of them respectively, wiped their forks with a napkin and then only took herself a cup of milk. "Enjoy yourself."
"You are so sweet."
Quincy was stunned. "I didn't expect my daughter to be so clever and sensible. I'm so touched."
