Chad was shocked by Victor's words, while Victor insisted on his opinions. He would neither explain to others nor take responsibilities of their guess.
"Did I beg Darleen to come to stay beside me?"
Victor narrowed his eyes. "No, I just have a good relation with his brother, not her family, but others guess I'll marry her."
Chad was still open-mouthed, and Victor added, "Actually, she deliberately created the gossip for I didn't refuse her."
Chad came out of a trance. "Now that you know that, why don't you explain it?"
"I'm lazy to do that." His answer was simple and clear. "Darleen's willing t be utilized by me. Why don't I refuse to take advantage of her?"
He can draw on her to refuse many women who pestered him. It is quite useful.
Chad gasped. "Boss, oh my god, what a scumbag you are!"
"Do you not know that before?" Victor pointed to himself. "I never say I'm a good man. Why are you so surprised? Darleen knows it clearly. I never give her any response and reply, but she still accompanies me. She just wants a title of my girlfriend. Why should I pretend to love her? She's hypocritical, and I'm selfish. It's good to mutually take advantage of each other."
He is quite plausible. Chad pointed to the report in Victor's hand. "You actually like this mixed-race girl?"
He referred to Elinor.
