When Sonia was taken to the hospital, Dixon watched her being wheeled in with a worried face. Chris said on the side, "There should be nothing physically wrong with her. I guess it's because she has received too much stimulation. She got too much stress."
Dixon didn't say anything. Chris continued, "You don't have to worry..."
Dixon now wished he could split up. He could stay with Sonia and send his alter ego to go back to the scene to find Victor.
Sonia did not stay unconscious for long. She woke up after twenty minutes. When she saw Dixon, she asked, "You... You're still here?"
Dixon sighed with relief, "You're awake. You're fine. I'm going back now."
"Wait..." Sonia grabbed Dixon's hands with one hand. The other hand of hers was being applied with a needle. She said, word for word, "Victor is still there... You must... You must bring him back safely..."
Sonia didn't have to continue her words. Dixon could have guessed it straight away.
Sonia had a tough personality. She never asked for help, especially not Dixon's help. But she was so humble now. Dixon just felt his heart twisting together.
"Don't worry, I'll go now."
Releasing his hand, Sonia suddenly felt like she was back in the past as she watched Dixon's back while he left.
And this time, he gave her his back figure to strive for her future.
When Dixon got back to the scene, the smoke had cleared up a lot. He ran in the direction of Mahoney. Jarvis was already standing off to the side. It looked like he had arrived at the scene with his men a while ago. Mahoney and Jarvis were discussing. Jarvis also held a wireless intercom in his hand.
"Dixon?" Looking up and seeing Dixon who had returned, Jarvis was a bit startled, "Why are you back again? Is Sonia okay?"
"She's fine now. She has someone with her now."
Dixon gasped, "Well, any news from Victor?"
