Sonia thought Mongolia would attend it with her brother.
But Magnolia paused and turned around, showing a far-fetched smile. "My brother doesn't allow me to attend it. I'm afraid I'll lose his face."
Sonia finally detected what was wrong.
When mentioning Latham, Magnolia turned fearful, her face even pale.
"Are you afraid of your brother?"
After all Latham sent her to a man's bed, so it is normal for her to fear him. Sonia even felt distressed for she had such a brother.
"Yes..." Magnolia combed her hair and took several bottles of rose essence from upstairs. "I want to escape from him, instead of fearing him."
Sonia got shocked.
Mongolia's face was even a bit desperate.
She was probably hurt by Latham's behavior, so that she had such a fragile look every time she mentioned him.
Sonia patted Magnolia on the shoulder and then said, "It doesn't matter. I know your past. Don't be afraid. You'll shale off it."
Magnolia cast unbelievable eyes at Sonia.
"In fact, a few days ago, I went through the same thing as you." Sonia took a deep breath, looked into Magnolia's eyes, and tried to convey her calmness and courage to this fragile girl. "It doesn't matter. Magnolia, we have to stand up and fight for ourselves, don't we?"
Magnolia stared at Sonia and then flung herself to Sonia's chest, crying, "Sonia... Sonia..."
How can you be so gentle?
