Eason came alone today.
After Cordelia returned to the bed and leaned back to sit, Eason sat on the chair next to the bed.
He thought about it for a long time but still didn't speak. His eyes were deep, as if he was hiding a lot of thoughts.
Cordelia took the initiative and said, "Elijah, you can say what you want, and you don't have to take other people's emotions too seriously."
How could Eason be someone who would consider other people's emotions? He didn't want to leave any bad impression in front of Cordelia, even slightly.
"What will you do after you're discharged from the hospital? Have you thought about it?" Eason asked after deliberation.
"Milo is not in Beilve City recently. I want to live in Milo's place temporarily. It is quiet," Cordelia said lightly.
She still needed to rest and didn't want to be disturbed casually.
"Alright." Eason slightly relaxed his brows and looked less worried.
Cordelia waited for a while but didn't hear any more from him, so she asked, "Eason, do you have something to tell me?"
Eason's eyes were deep, and after looking at her for a few seconds, he finally shook his head with a light smile.
"You are a girl of your own opinion, and you don't need others to talk too much. I believe you will choose the right path."
Cordelia nodded. "Yeah. Thank you, Eason, for defending me and letting my anger be vented."
Eason was stunned and said, "You don't blame me for beating him too harshly?"
He never beat people in the face and didn't intend to hit Elijah in the face.
However, Elijah's words thoroughly angered him, causing him to lose control.
Elijah said, "You are a villain who covets her, a coward who dares not stand in the sun!"
He admitted that he was a coward who missed Cordelia and missed opportunities to be with her again and again.
However, how could Elijah say these words? How? How well did he treat her?
Just because he was the one favored by Cordelia?
