Cordelia gently pushed him away and walked some steps away from him.
"Elijah, I have something to tell you."
Elijah nodded, staring deeply into her eyes. The complexity in her eyes made him even more nervous.
He was terrified that Cordelia would say things like she wanted to get away from him or stuff.
"On the morning of your accident, I received a letter from my grandmother."
When she mentioned her grandmother, Cordelia's eyes instantly turned red, and her beautiful eyes became moist.
Elijah was a little stunned.
"Elijah, I'm not Janice's biological daughter. My biological mother is her younger sister, Jane," Cordelia whispered, with crystal tears falling from the corners of his eyes.
Elijah's eyes were full of distress, and then he gently wiped away tears for her and said, "You must have cried miserably at that time, right?"
How exciting was it to receive a letter from a deceased relative after so many years?
Even if Cordelia mentioned it now, she was still crying silently.
"I was too impulsive at the time, which caused the car to lose control."
When Elijah thought of that scene now, he still had lingering fears in his heart. The accident happened because he had only watched the video Gideon asked someone to shoot at that time.
He thought Cordelia and Eason...
"Okay, let's not mention it anymore. Just let it go with the wind! Let's forgive each other, okay, Elijah?"
Looking at the bruised man before her, Cordelia still felt a little distressed after all.
Elijah lowered his head and approached her face. "I will forgive you this time, but I won't give up on you."
Cordelia was stunned, smiled, and stood on tiptoe, wrapping her arms around the man's neck. "Now, I don't want to let you go too. You little handsome guy from the Hansen family."
