Seeing Cordelia silent for a long time, Elijah approached her.
However, Cordelia turned around and distanced herself from him again.
"Elijah, we lost each other. Now, we no longer have any relationship. Don't always think that you can get me back by pestering me after you hurt me."
Cordelia looked at Elijah coldly without any emotion in her eyes, as if she was looking at a stranger.
Elijah's eyes were gloomy. Of course, he knew, but he had to try.
What if Cordelia was suddenly moved by his persistence and sincerity?
Unfortunately, Cordelia wasn't.
If she were still the 18-year-old girl, she might be fooled.
But she was no longer that submissive little girl who just fell in love.
"How can you forgive me?" Elijah asked.
Cordelia looked at him coldly and said, "We'd better live our own life."
In the beginning, Cordelia gave up everything and wanted to be with him, but she was deceived and betrayed.
Now, she wanted to live for herself.
She turned around to leave, but Elijah suddenly hugged her forcefully from behind and pressed her against the wall.
"What are you doing?" Cordelia looked at Elijah warily.
"Can you please stay for a moment? Let me hold you for a while, just for a while." Elijah greedily smelled the familiar smell in Cordelia's hair and was reluctant to let go.
"You are disrespectful and unfair to your nominal fiancée. Elijah, do you want to be a jerk?" Cordelia asked him calmly without giving him the slightest response.
"Cordelia, do you really not like me anymore?" Elijah asked in depression.
"What do you think?" Cordelia asked without answering.
She deliberately avoided the question because she hadn't thought about it recently.
If they were just like the first time they met, Cordelia thought she would always love Elijah deeply.
