"Just wait!"

Ben said, "Is this big shot in Grant City still infatuated with your mother?"

"I'm not sure about their relationship." Elijah casually steered the conversation back. "What are your plans if there's something wrong with Imogen's pregnancy?"

"Of course, I'll bring her back!" Ben clenched his teeth fiercely.

"Alright, I'll let you know as soon as I have any updates."

At the airport hotel in Grant City, urgent beeps sounded.

With her pregnant belly, Imogen looked at Cordelia's phone and said, "Cordelia, Elijah's calling."

Cordelia was busy with her skincare routine. As both hands were occupied, she gestured for Imogen to put it on speakerphone.
