Cordelia suddenly understood.
She slowly raised her hand and handed it to Elijah, saying, "You should have heard of Diamond Creativity, the national jewelry brand, right?"
Elijah nodded cautiously. But although he had heard of it, he seldom researched this brand regularly.
"I am one of the shareholders of the Diamond Creativity. This ring is a year-end award given to me by the company at the end of last year." Cordelia explained seriously.
"Isn't it a wedding ring?" Elijah smiled uncontrollably.
"Marriage? Who should I marry?" Cordelia rolled her eyes at him. "Alright, can you leave now?"
"Can you let me in and rest for a while?" Elijah said with a tired look.
Seeing his weak look, Cordelia finally relented and let him into the house.
As soon as he entered, Elijah quickly glanced across Cordelia's room like a hawk. And he sat down on the sofa with satisfaction after finding nothing of a male.
Seeing various alternative medicine books and medicine academic papers on the coffee table, Elijah instantly recalled a familiar feeling.
Cordelia's life pace seemed unchanged and was still the same as before.
"Give me your hand." Cordelia suddenly said.
Elijah subconsciously followed her words and saw Cordelia taking his pulse.
He smiled slightly and thought she still cared about him.
Thinking of Ben's strange illness, he asked Cordelia about it.
"Shut your mouth."
Cordelia frowned. Elijah's health was poor, and she didn't know how he had spoiled himself in the past two years.
Not long after, Cordelia finished diagnosing and said, "You're already in poor health, and you're still seeking a doctor for Ben?"
