Chapter 82 You Are Something
“Elijah, we both know having a baby needs some effort.” Cordelia bit her lip, enduring the heat.
“That’s why we need to work harder,” Elijah bent down and whispered with panting.
Later, Elijah carried her to a chair, pinched her waist, and bit her shoulder. “Cordelia, you’re not going anywhere.”
Cordelia felt the pain and closed her eyes silently.
It was not pleasant, not at all.
Maybe it was because Gideon was stressing on them, for a while, Elijah was particularly serious about sex life.
Even if there were work to be done at night, he would go back to the bedroom on time. He was very enthusiastic.
Later, when Cordelia went to dinner with Elijah’s parents, she heard from Lamia that Gideon scolded Elijah severely that day, and almost resorted to physical punishment.
Cordelia understood the story.
She thought, “Elijah yielded to the family anyway. Strange, what have I been expecting? That his conscience got the better of him, and he is willing to take a look at me, the wife arranged by his
parents?”
“Oh, by the way, Cordelia, I have good news for you. Grandpa’s health has recovered recently,” Lamia said again.
“This is good,” Cordelia said lightly.
“Hey, I didn’t trust in alternative medicine before. I thought it was too mysterious, but now have some faith in it. Grandpa’s pulmonary heart disease was cured by alternative medicine,” Lamia said eloquently.
Cordelia nodded, but she was already absent-minded.
When the dinner was about to get started, Elijah hadn’t come back yet. But Edith thought it was getting late, so she announced. the start of the meal.
“Cordelia, has my brother been busy recently?” Lamia asked in a low voice.
“Yes, he’s been working late every day,” Cordelia was telling the truth.
Except for the baby-making part, Elijah was in the study at other times.
Lamia ate quickly and finished the dinner first.
After that, she took out her phone and began surfing. No one noticed that her expression suddenly became weird.
“Cordelia, the prescription you found for your grandpa is very effective. He has stopped coughing at night recently, and he slept well,” Edith said with a rare smile.
Gabe nodded again and again. “Cordelia is really caring.”
Lamia made a big fuss and said, “Cordelia found that prescription for Grandpa? You are truly amazing.”
“It was nothing, we should take good care of the elders.” Cordelia smiled.
At this moment, Lamia secretly pulled Cordelia’s arm under the table, and then handed her the phone.
Cordelia looked down, and her smile disappeared.
In Lamia’s Facebook, Jacob just posted a video, it was a recording of a banquet.
