Chapter 372 Stop Pretending
The disgust in Finley's eyes deepened.
"Boring."
Thalia enjoyed cold rebuffs. The more distant Finley was, the more she
wanted to conquer him.
"Do you like me? Give me an answer. Don't be oblique."
Thalia stood up nonchalantly, acting so frivolous that she didn't look like a lady from a rich family.
"No."
"Heh, don't be so sure. I've dated many men. Maybe you'll give in to my charm, too."
"No."
"Oh, then let's see about it."
Thalia looked as if victory was in her grasp.
Every man could be seduced.
She had seen someone like Finley, who was pretending to be noble and virtuous. Perhaps he was more frivolous than anyone in private.
However, Finley stared straight at her for a while.
Thalia pursed her lips and smiled.
"What are you looking at?"
"Have you ever seen a psychiatrist?" Finley frowned and asked seriously.
"What?"
"Some psychological diseases need to be treated with medicine under the guidance of a doctor. I hope you can take it seriously."
Thalia's playful expression instantly turned sour.
"Are you crazy?"
She cursed in disdain and turned to leave.
"Remember to come to tomorrow's party. Otherwise, Alexa won't have a good time," Thalia threatened without looking back.
Thalia knew Finley's weak spot. He would definitely take the bait when it involved Alexa.
Although it worked like a charm every time, Thalia felt uncomfortable.
She had just walked out of the inpatient building when Rayan rushed over with a large group of bodyguards.
Thalia tsked and looked impatient.
Rayan grabbed her wrist and asked through gritted teeth.
"What are you doing here? Who are you here to see?"
"Let go. You are hurting me."
"You don't want to tell me? Alright, I'll go and kill that man," Rayan said as he narrowed his eyes dangerously.
"Rayan, are you crazy" Thalia roared at the top of her lungs.
The people passing by all looked at them.
Rayan felt embarrassed. He pulled Thalia back to the car.
"Speak!"
"What kind of tone is that? Do I need to report to you everything I have done?"
Thalia took out her lipstick to fix her makeup with disdain. She did not take Rayan's anger to heart.
However, Rayan did not dare to do anything to her.
"Thalia, remember this. You are my woman. I can tolerate your mistakes,
but there is a limit to my patience!"
"What? It's not like you want to be with me because you really like me. Why pretend?" Thalia laughed mockingly.
"We will get married sooner or later, and you will be in the Biddell family.
Please pay attention to your words and actions."
"Rayan, I made it clear a long time ago." Thalia rolled her eyes in
annoyance. "I am okay with marriage and acts, but you can't control me. We
can be with anyone we want in private."
"You..." Rayan was so angry that he didn't know what to say. He just stepped
on the accelerator with a sullen face.
"We will attend the banquet together tomorrow night. You should make preparations."
"Got it."
Thalia responded perfunctorily, but she was thinking about another person.
The banquet held by the Niebergall Group was grand, and everyone present was upper-class. It was like a vanity fair.
Alexa held Terrence's hand as they walked in. Irvin immediately brought a group of guests over to greet them.
"Mr. Ramsey, Ms. Duran, it's been a long time." Irvin's smile was insincere. Alexa sized him up calmly. The palm print on Irvin's face had disappeared, but he was much thinner than before, and his eyes were gloomier.
