We Will Collide Someday by Scarlett Sanchez novel Chapter 383

Chapter 383 I Don't Want to Quarrel Either

Alexa listened silently without making any comments.

She did not know what Finley had just said to Thalia. In short, she looked quite happy now.

The two of them chatted for a while, and Alexa's phone rang.

Thalia understood and blinked.

"Hurry up and go over. Don't let Mr. Ramsey wait too long."

When Alexa arrived at the garage, Edwin was standing in front of Terrence and reporting something.

She stood still not too far away and did not walk too close.

Terrence's face was a little gloomy. It seemed to be a tricky matter.

But after seeing Alexa, Terrence waved his hand to let Edwin leave, and he then relaxed.

"Are you done talking?"

He asked gently, carefully opening the door for her.

"Yes, we talked a little." Alexa fastened her seat belt. "Did I disturb your work?"

"Now you are my work."

After Terrence finished speaking, he personally drove away from the hospital.

His phone kept ringing, and Alexa had a bad feeling.

However, Terrence did not intend to answer it at all and directly muted it.

"If you have something to do, go and do it first."

"It's fine." Terrence's expression still did not change.

Alexa did not ask again, and she changed the topic.

"Then where are we going now?"

"Jade Bay." Terrence said, "We can stay there for a few days."

Although he said it casually, Alexa's face instantly became serious.

"Did something happen to the company?"

"No," He chuckled. "Don't be nervous. We will just stay for a few days."

Jade Bay...

Thinking of that place, Alexa did not have a good memory.

Although Jade Bay was a high-end residential area, it was far away from the downtown area of New York. It was basically a state of isolation from the outside world.

That year, Terrence sent her to Jade Bay because the media was smearing her, and there were even people who directly revealed her identity information.

If there wasn't such a tricky matter, it would be absolutely impossible for Terrence to suddenly send her away.

But this time, he still refused to say anything.

Alexa suddenly felt gloomy.

"Are you still going to hide it from me? You want to carry it alone again? Then what is the meaning of my existence?"

"Alexa, I didn't mean this."

Although Terrence's tone was very gentle, it carried an irresistible intent.

"Trust me. I will handle it."

"I don't want to be hidden. At least tell me what happened."

"The company's matter is not a big deal to me. I just don't want those

people to hurt you."

The shadow in Terrence's eyes deepened a little.

"Be good. I'll send you and Damar over."

Seeing that he still refused to say anything, Alexa instantly got even angrier.

"Stop the car! I won't delay your work. I'll go back myself," Alexa said

unhappily.

Terrence continued to explain patiently, "Alexa, I'm not going to quarrel with you. I'm just..."

"I don't want to quarrel either."

"I promised you that I would help Thalia send Rayan to prison. I will do what

I say. Don't worry."

"This matter is not the main point."

Alexa was so anxious, but Terrence still remained calm.

In the end, she did not say anything. After Terrence parked the car at the

door of the house, she got off and entered without a word.

Terrence originally wanted to go in and coax her, but his phone kept ringing.

He was too busy to deal with both, so he had to rush to the company first.

After Alexa returned home, Damarion still rushed over like usual.

She picked up her son indifferently and let Yareli pack her luggage.

"Mrs. Ramsey, why are you suddenly packing up?" Yareli asked in a panic.
