Chapter 384 Dr. McMillan Has a Crush on Someone
Seeing that Alexa and Damarion were looking at them, Henry reluctantly let go of Christina.
“Let me help you with your luggage.”
“Okay.”
Christina nodded and straightened the shawl.
Alexa let Yareli carry Damarion away and then went to the backyard with Christina.
“Mom, what is going on with you? Are you officially together?” Alexa asked curiously.
Christina explained lightly, “No, we had a fight yesterday. Can’t you tell it?”
Alexa was lost for words.
Alexa thought about how intimate Henry and Christina were and did not see that they had fought.
Alexa shook her head. “No, I cannot.”
“A woman wanted to go on a date with Henry, and I caught them. Although he refused, I was unhappy.” Christina said lazily.
After finishing speaking, Christina raised her hand.
Alexa saw the dazzling diamond ring and was shocked.
“Henry bought it today to apologize. He followed me all the way to New York. What a stubborn man!” Christina smiled easily.
Alexa quietly listened to Christina show off. Then Christina suddenly changed the topic, and her expression became serious.
“What happened between you and Terrence?”
As soon as this matter was brought up, Alexa’s face darkened.
“He has something to hide from me. This is not the first time this has happened,” Alexa grunted.
“Did he cheat on you?”
“No.”
Alexa was certain about this.
Christina said skillfully, “It’s no big deal. Every couple will fight. And they will make up after the misunderstanding is cleared. And I think Terrence is a good man.”
“You are so partial to him.”
“I have seen him care about you.”
Christina smiled elegantly, and her tone was serious.
“Alexa, that kind of deep affection cannot be fake. I often think that if something really happens to you, then Terrence will be the most painful person.”
Hearing Christina say this, Alexa became even more depressed.
Alexa regretted moving to the Duran’s home. She wanted to have a good talk with Terrence, but he guarded against her like she was a thief, afraid that she would know something.
Now, Alexa could not even get through to Terrence.
“Forget it. We’ll talk about it later.” Alexa gave up.
In fact, she was still angry at Terrence.
Alexa and Christina entered the living room together. Henry was sitting on the sofa and carefully holding Damarion.
When he saw Alexa and Christina, he forced a smile at them.
“Sorry, I have never held a child before. Is he comfortable?”
Henry carefully adjusted his posture so that Damarion could lie in his arms.
Henry’s neat suit had been dreadfully ravaged by Damarion.
“Damar!”
Alexa shouted anxiously and quickly went over to take Damarion.
It seemed that it was not a good thing for her son to be a born socializer…
Alexa blushed with shame and apologized with a proper attitude.
“Henry, I’m sorry. Damar is too naughty.”
“It doesn’t matter.”
Henry calmly tidied up his clothes and smiled warmly.
“Damar is very cute.”
“Damar is close to you.” Christina casually mentioned, “Damar is afraid of strangers, but he is not afraid of you.”
“It means that we are a family.” Alexa was perceptive and tried to set up Christina and Henry.
“Alexa…”
Christina pouted and smiled.
The night was peaceful.
The next morning, the Duran’s home was bustling with noise and excitement.
