Chapter 394 Are You Impatient With Me?
Alexa was shocked and hurriedly pressed down on Terrence’s leg under the table, hinting to him not to act recklessly.
Terrence did stop, but he never spoke to Kieran again.
Alexa and Kieran chatted very well, and Terrence looked very upset.
Fortunately, Clara came in time, and Alexa shifted her focus away from Kieran.
“He didn’t come with you?” Kieran asked.
Kieran didn’t care about his brother-in-law at all.
“We now stay out of each other’s lives. I’ll get a divorce tomorrow,” Clara replied indifferently.
“Okay, I’ll go with you tomorrow.”
“Father was urging me to ask when are you going to get married?”
Hearing this question, Alexa gave Kieran a strange look.
“No hurry.” Kieran took a sip of coffee with a straight face. “I haven’t met anyone I like yet.”
“You shouldn’t meet someone so amazing when you’re young.” Kieran now roughly understood this sentence.
Kieran did not look at Alexa, but Terrence inexplicably hid a sense of hostility toward him.
“Relationship needs to be cultivated,” Terrence suddenly spoke up.
Alexa was shocked and looked at Terrence nervously.
Terrence had a smile on his face and looked calm.
“If you need it, I can help you keep an eye out. Your conditions are good, so you don’t have to worry that no one will like you.”
Terrence sounded as if he was implying that Kieran should not have anything to do with his wife.
However, Kieran smiled and did not argue with Terrence about this.
After serving the dishes, Terrence did not give Alexa a chance to chat.
He kept putting food into her plate, afraid that her mouth would stop eating.
Once Kieran said something, Terrence would pay great attention to it and would never give Alexa a chance to say anything.
The atmosphere of this meal inexplicably became strange.
After the meeting, Clara pulled Alexa away.
Terrence could not join their conversation, so he sat alone on the side and looked at Alexa.
Kieran did not leave.
Kieran suddenly said, “Your relationship is better now.”
“Isn’t it obvious?”
Terrence’s tone was calm, but it was inexplicably showing off.
Kieran’s eyes were much calmer.
“Well, then I am relieved.”
“She treats you as a friend. It’s good.”
Terrence about to leave when he finished speak
Kieran held back for a long time, but in the end, he said helplessly, “Since we are friends, you don’t have to be jealous of me anymore, do you?”
It was not like he did not notice Terrence’s expression during the meal just now.
The jealousy in Terrence’s heart was almost overflowing.
“I was equally mindful of every male friend she had around her.”
Terrence’s eyes became colder.
Kieran was right. Terrence was indeed not so generous.
Moreover, Kieran had publicly pursued Alexa before. Just thinking about this, Terrence became more uneasy.
On the way back, Terrence’s expression had been tense.
Alexa read her phone absent-mindedly and was secretly sizing Terrence up.
“If you have something to say, just say it,” Terrence said, looking straight ahead.
“What kind of tone is this?”
Alexa looked at Terrence with interest.
“You are quite impatient with me, aren’t you?”
As soon as she finished speaking, Terrence was instantly defeated.
“No,” Terrence admitted. “What’s wrong with my tone?”
“Nothing.” Alexa adjusted her sitting posture and stared at Terrence deeply.
“I feel you are quite jealous.”
