“Cecilia, thanks for everything today,” Magnus said sincerely before he was wheeled into the operating 

room. 

Despite his usual ingratitude and lack of appreciation, when confronted with life and death today, he still thought of Cecilia. 

Cecilia didn’t utter a word. Her gaze followed him as he entered the operating groom.
