When Kendra heard what she said, she was about to knock the phone out of Susan's hand, but it was already too late.
Susan stared at Kendra determinedly, "What do you think about this solution, are you satisfied?"
"You!"
Kendra clenched her fists furiously, she could neither leave nor stay.
She took a deep breath, then stood up straight and looked at Susan, "You don't need to scare me with this, let me tell you, I don't think it was wrong what I did back then!"
"Right, you haven't done anything wrong, so when Jarvis is here, we should tell him the truth, so he will stop to run after me!"
Because Edward's company was not far from the hospital, it didn't take long before the security guards have surrounded the whole hospital.
Even Jarvis arrived earlier than expected.
When Jarvis came, Susan and Kendra were still fighting, and the fight was getting more and more heated.
Kendra was discussing with Susan why she wasn't a good fit to marry into her family.
"What have you done to Jarvis, you know best!"
"Don't think I will be afraid of you just because you called Jarvis over to explain everything to him!"
Susan didn't say a single word, she saw Jarvis from afar as he was coming, her gaze was determined as she walked towards him.
Jarvis didn't look good, he stared at Kendra and said very coldly, "Mom, what are you doing here?"
"You heard what your mother said right? Let me tell you, a few years ago, when you left, I tried everything to find you. But your mother used my data from my research to kick me out of the medical world."
"And, I do not want to marry you at all right now, you and your mother need to leave me alone!"
As she said that, Susan turned and walked outside.
But, her words have shocked Jarvis.
He stared at Kendra, frowning, and after what seemed to be a very long time, he asked, "Is what Susan just said right?"
He knew Susan, he knew that Susan had the qualifications to be a doctor, it had always been her dream, everything she did was for her own mother!
If someone ruined her career, that meant that they ruined Susan.
Kendra didn't look even a little bit guilty, "So what if it is true? So what? She was the one who was wrong, she was ill-disposed!"
Susan heard that, but she didn't turn back again.
She went outside, and led the security guards from Edward's company and asked them to go back, then she quickly called Tina to ask for Bronson's number. She called him and asked where he was, then she went over to pick up Ruby.
Susan took Ruby back to the hospital, and sign her dismissal papers, then, she took Ruby back home.
She didn't know what happened between Jarvis and Kendra, what Jarvis would find out, but that didn't matter to her anymore.
Susan never wanted to expose the truth, but it didn't matter, now she was fully at ease with it.
When she got home and arranged everything for Ruby, she received a call from Jarvis.
Susan hesitated, she didn't want to take the call.
But Jarvis would keep calling her until she did, so she had no other way.
She took her phone, hesitated for a little, then picked the call.
"Yeah?"
"I want to talk to you."
"About what?"
Susan was very calm.
"I am sorry."
