Susan and Edward discussed the details of the divorce a long time ago. Except that it was half a year from their divorce and they discussed it after sex. That was why Susan felt that whatever was discussed could not be taken seriously.

Susan took a taxi to Edward’s house and along the way she was considering how she should broach the subject. Once she was at the villa, she saw Edward’s car stopped at the courtyard and suddenly she forgot everything.

She bit her lips and walked to the door, entered the passcode, and entered the villa. She saw Edward sitting on the sofa.

When Edward saw that Susan was back, he looked at her and said, “You’re back.”

Susan was startled by this and asked, “You… were you waiting for me?” Susan hesitated and asked in disbelief.

“Yes,” Edward answered calmly.

“How long have you waited?” Susan felt guilty for asking… because she didn’t go home last night and if Edward was to ask her about where she went, she couldn’t explain it properly.

However, Edward didn’t ask much and just replied, “Not too long.” Edward lied. He actually waited for Susan since last night.

“That’s good, I was worried…” Susan patted her chest and looked at Edward. She walked to Edward, blinked, and said, “Hubby… let’s…” Susan didn’t know why she couldn’t say ‘let’s divorce’.

Just at this moment, Edward’s cell phone rang and he looked coldly at the phone and went outside to receive the call. After Edward received the call, he appeared to have some urgent matters and didn’t return to the villa. Hence, Susan didn’t have the chance to mention the issue of divorce.

Vanessa practically didn’t sleep for the entire night. She consolidated all the things that had happened between her, Edward, and Susan since she came back. She suddenly felt that her situation was rather dangerous. But, under the current circumstances, what else could she do?

She took out her phone and looked at her contacts list to see if she could find someone who could tell her what had happened to Edward over these years. In the end, she looked at a name and hesitated for a long time before calling that number. The other party quickly received the call and immediately said her name.

“Vanessa? What made you call me? Are you back in the country?”

Vanessa composed herself and grinned before saying, “Yes, Ryan, I’m back.”
