When she left. He went crazy
Chapter 93 It Was Their Fault
Christopher’s blue eyes glanced at me, as if hoping I could step back.
I smiled confidently and firmly stated first, “What she said is true. She’ll be leaving by tomorrow night at the latest.”
“I won’t listen to you.” Brenda ignored me, staring only at Christopher, looking like she couldn’t bear the truth much longer. “Christopher, tell me, is it true?”
Perhaps my gaze was too direct, despite feeling awkward, Christopher spoke in a slow, deep voice. “It’s true.”
“Mom, did you hear that?” Evelyn complained, “Christopher promised to take care of me, but now he’s not helping me, allowing outsiders to bully us.”
Christopher’s face turned cold. “Hope is my wife, not an outsider!”
“You’re divorced!” Evelyn, tears streaking her face, emphasized firmly.
Evelyn acted as if she was the one being wronged.
Christopher furrowed his brow displeased. “Until we signed a divorce agreement, she’s still my wife.”
I was surprised that Christopher emphasized their relationship to Evelyn in this way,
“Alright,” Brenda interrupted their argument, her sickly face tinged with pleading as she said, “Christopher, regardless of your relationship with Ms. Royston, Evelyn is your family. She’s pampered by me and your father since babyhood. Sending her abroad alone, isn’t that endangering her life?”
“I only have her as a daughter now. If anything happens to her, how can I go on living?” As she spoke, tears threatened to fall.
I feeling annoyed. Christopher said, ‘I’ll discuss this matter with Hope again.”
“Discuss what?” My eyes remained fixed on Christopher, having yielded too many times before!
This time, I didn’t want to yield anymore!
I said stubbornly, “Christopher, you promised me this just yesterday.”
Could it be that your promises to me were so casually changeable?”
Promises made and broken time and time again.
Christopher pinched his brow, wanting to take me outside, but I shrugged him off, saying, “If you have something to say, say it here.”
“There are many ways to achieve your goal, must it be so embarrassing?” Christopher’s face darkened.
I didn’t believe a word Christopher said, coldly smiling. “For example, instead of sending her abroad, are you willing to

send her to jail?”
what did
Brenda looked at me. “Jail? What did Evelyn do? You actually want to send her to jail.”
It was as if my suggestion was unforgivable.
“She killed my baby!” My voice rang out, coldly smiling, “But to you, that probably is a big deal.”
After all, Brenda even killed Christopher’s mother.
A living pregnant woman.
Brenda helplessly spoke, “Ms. Royston, is there a misunderstanding between us? Why do you harbor such animosity
toward me?”
“Exactly! Hope Royston, my mother just woke up. Don’t provoke her! If you have any issues, come at me!”
Evelyn stood in front of me, looking very aggrieved. As for what you said about killing your baby, I’ve already said, it really wasn’t intentional, I didn’t know you were pregnant, why don’t you believe me?”
Clearly, it was a stance of sophistry to the end. I couldn’t be bothered to argue with Evelyn, only staring fixedly at Christopher. “Have you made up your mind? Do you really want to send her abroad…”
Before I could finish speaking, Brenda suddenly clutched her chest, breathing rapidly, looking like she might faint at
any moment.
“We won’t send her!” Christopher said in a hurry and ran out to call a doctor!
There was a strong sense of threat in his tone.
It was obvious who it was directed at.
I felt bitter turmoil in my heart, tugged at the corner of my mouth, about to leave. Brenda calmly said, “Ms. Royston,
since you’ve already filed for divorce, don’t waste each other’s time anymore.”
I turned back in astonishment to see Brenda looking very composed, and couldn’t help but mock. “Although you’ve been in a coma for so many years, your acting skills haven’t diminished at all.”
Not only did Christopher believe it, but I did too. “Did you hear what I said just now?” Brenda narrowed her eyes,
pressing on step by step.
I didn’t want to give Brenda the satisfaction and smirked. “Are you trying to force me to divorce, Brenda? I’m not someone who cares about saving face. If you push me too far, I might not divorce at all and let your daughter be a mistress for life!”
Brenda glared angrily at me, “No wonder Evelyn says you’re difficult! You really have no shame.”
“You really have no shame.” I smirked, J–never thought before that being a mistress could be passed down through generations.”
