Nathan's eyes lit up at Vanessa's suggestion. "Vanessa, you always think on your feet. This plan could work. If we can win over Mrs. Aberdeen, Sean will have no choice but to agree."
Vanessa chuckled confidently. "But we need to carefully consider what gift to give. It has to be something that will truly touch Mrs. Aberdeen's heart."
Nathan nodded, but his brow furrowed soon after. "The Foster family is the most prestigious in Northcrest City. They've seen everything money can buy. Finding a gift that Mrs. Aberdeen would appreciate won't be easy."
"Besides," Vanessa added, "on the day of Aberdeen’s birthday party, there are bound to be many influential families present. Every gift will be extravagant; ours needs to stand out to catch her attention."
It was indeed a daunting task, but Vanessa smiled and said, "If we cater to her tastes, she won't be able to resist."
Vanessa's eyes gleamed with determination as she continued, "Dad, I want to take a trip to Northcrest City."
Nathan immediately caught on to her plan. "You want to go there personally to learn about Mrs. Aberdeen's preferences?"
Vanessa nodded. "No matter what, our family must secure a share of the Eastborough Project. If we succeed, your position in the company will be solidified, and the board will have to respect you more."
