Where Petals of Vengeance Bloom novel Chapter 173

Nathan and Adah paced anxiously outside the emergency room.

When they saw Brian approaching, his head wrapped in bandages, Nathan couldn't help but ask in surprise, "Mr. Cole, what happened to your head?"

Brian hesitated for a moment before brushing it off. "Just a little accident. What's happening with Ethan?"

Recalling the distressing sight of Ethan coughing up blood, Nathan's eyes turned icy. Words of anger towards Claire spilled from his lips without a second thought.

"It's all that wretched Claire's fault! Who knows what she said to Ethan to drive him to such a state."

"That woman can't stand the success of the Linwood family. Even though she's no longer with us, she keeps causing trouble behind the scenes. Truly despicable."

Nathan's face was flushed with anger, as if cursing Claire could somehow mask the wrongs they had done to her.

Adah echoed Nathan's sentiments, her face filled with sadness. "Claire has always been so troublesome, like a curse. All she does is bring chaos to the family."

"To think she drove Ethan to such a condition—it's simply heartless. Our genuine care meant nothing to her. What a shame!"

Brian quietly listened, his expression unreadable. His eyes revealed a hint of contemplation, as if weighing the truth of Nathan and Adah's words.

Whether he believed them or not was unclear. He stood there with a neutral expression, eyes lowered in thought.

Just then, a mocking laugh suddenly echoed through the corridor, its hoarse tone cutting through the silence.

Nathan, Adah, and Brian turned simultaneously to see a nurse pushing Irene in a wheelchair towards them.
