Where Petals of Vengeance Bloom novel Chapter 172

Ethan lay on the ground, bloodied and unresponsive, as Nathan and Adah stared in shock. Then, a heart-wrenching scream escaped their throats. Tears welled up in Adah's eyes immediately.

"He was fine just this morning. How did it come to this?" she sobbed. Her crying abruptly stopped as if she suddenly remembered something. Her eyes scanned the storage room, but rather than feeling guilty about Claire living in such a damp, dark environment, she blamed Ethan's condition entirely on her.

"It's all Claire's fault," Adah declared, her voice thick with accusation. "If she hadn't repeatedly provoked Ethan, he wouldn't be in this state. He’s her own brother, how could she be so heartless?"

"If anything happens to Ethan, I won't let her get away with it," Adah continued, her tears flowing freely.

Nathan, finding a target for his anger in Adah's words, let out a heavy sigh and agreed, "That troublemaker has brought nothing but chaos to the Linwood family since she arrived. She's turned our once peaceful home upside down. Ethan gave her everything, and this is how she repays him!"

Adah cried even louder, "That ungrateful girl did this on purpose to make us suffer, to get back at us..."
