"No, please, no!" Vanessa thrashed wildly, but the bodyguards effortlessly pinned her down again. Her voice cracked as she screamed, fear etched into her features. "Mr. Foster, it was an accident! I can pay you back. Just call my parents—they’ll send the money right away. Please, don't send me to prison."

Tears streamed down her pale cheeks, unchecked and relentless.
