Where Petals of Vengeance Bloom novel Chapter 329

Mandy blinked in disbelief. The drunken mess clinging to her waist was none other than Brian.

His glassy eyes struggled to focus as he gazed up at her, voice thick with tears and desperate longing.

“Claire, I feel awful. Please, can’t you forgive me?”

“I know I messed up—I swear, I’ll change. Just give me another chance. Please, come back to me. Don’t fall for Sean. Love me instead.”

“I really do love you. I can’t live without you.”

He looked utterly pathetic, tears streaming down his cheeks as he clung to Mandy even tighter, like a drowning man refusing to let go.

Mandy’s expression turned to ice. Her voice cut through him, cold and sharp. “Let go of me.”

“No. I’m never letting you go again. Just one more chance, I’m begging you.”

Disgusted, Mandy seized a handful of his hair and slapped him hard across the face. The sound cracked through the air. She didn’t hold back, unleashing her fury.

“Now you realize you did something wrong? Where was that guilt before? You and your pack of cowards ruined Claire’s life—left her with injuries she’ll never recover from. You think a few tears and a sorry can erase the hell you put her through?”

Without hesitation, Mandy kicked Brian hard, sending him sprawling to the floor. She planted her foot on his chest, pinning him down. “Open your eyes, Brian. I’m not Claire. But let me make one thing clear: Claire will never forgive you. Not in this life.”

“If you really feel so sorry for her, do the world a favor and disappear.”

Brian was too drunk to process anything, his mind lost in a fog. He clung to Mandy’s ankle, sobbing, “Claire, please, don’t be so heartless. I just want to make things right.”

Mandy shook him off with revulsion. Her heel scraped sharply across the back of his hand, leaving a red welt.

“Make things right?” Her voice trembled with outrage. “You think an apology and a few tears are enough to fix what you did?”
