Where Petals of Vengeance Bloom novel Chapter 53

"Nathan Linwood, touch May one more time, and I'll end you," Claire declared, her voice icy and unwavering, her gaze sharp as a blade slicing through the air towards Nathan.

Nathan was momentarily stunned by Claire's fierce glare, frozen in place.

But soon, his anger surged back, a tidal wave of fury, "You dare threaten me, you little brat? I'll beat you to death."

With that, he lunged at Claire, lost in a frenzy, ready to strike her without restraint.

May quickly stepped in front of Claire, shielding her with her own body.

The belt lashed against May's back, her body swayed from the impact, but she stood her ground, stubborn and unyielding.

Tears streamed down Claire's face more fiercely.

Kill him, kill him, kill him.

That was the only thought left in her mind.

Her life was in ruins, with no hope for the future. Upon her release from prison, she had intended to find a place where no one knew her and live out the rest of her days. But the Linwoods refused to let her go.

They wanted to torment her endlessly.

Her existence was too painful, and there was no reason to continue living like this. Death seemed preferable.

If she didn't want to live, then no one should.

Let's all die together!!!

Mustering all her strength, she pushed May aside, sending May stumbling backward.

Ignoring the pain in her legs, Claire rushed into the kitchen.

She emerged with a kitchen knife in her hand, eyes locked onto Nathan, and advanced towards him with a determined stride.

Nathan saw the knife and felt a flicker of fear, but he barked defiantly, "Claire, what are you doing with that knife? Are you insane?"
