Whispers Turn to Whimpers: Could He Ever Change? novel Chapter 802

Malvina's mind was racing. "If you're feeling unwell, why on earth would you go to the hospital with Sherilyn? Does this concern her?"

"Mom."

Galen rubbed his temples, clearly distressed. He hadn't foreseen Yuna's involvement taking this turn.

"It's about..."

"Speak up!"

Malvina demanded, her tone sharp. She narrowed her eyes, "Tell me the truth! Don’t think you can fool me! Is this related to Sherilyn? Was she the one feeling unwell? Did you go with her?"

"Mom!"

Yuna suddenly remembered something, "Right! That little brat Sherilyn was even holding a doll! Oh..."

Her voice rose in shock, "That doll, it called Galen 'Uncle'! Yes, that's what it said!"

"Yuna!" Galen was furious, "Sherilyn is your sister! Watch your language!"

Then, turning to Malvina.

"Mom, Sherilyn is my sister."

Galen's jaw tightened as he struggled to keep his composure, "What's wrong with me taking care of her?"

Gritting his teeth, he delivered a stinging reminder.

"How did Yuna and I come into this world? And how did our family reach the life we have now? You know better than anyone!"

With that, he stormed upstairs.

Malvina's face turned pale, nearly losing her balance. She couldn't believe what she had just heard from Galen, her son. Her precious boy, whom she had carried for nine months and raised with all the love in the world.

And now, he was speaking to her like this over an outsider!

"Galen! What kind of attitude is that!"

Yuna shouted after him, then turned to Malvina, pulling at her arm, "Mom, if he won’t buy me a car, you have to! I can't be worse off than an outsider, can I?"

"Enough!"

Malvina was exasperated, shaking off her daughter.

"All you think about is a car!"

She couldn't believe Galen was siding with Sherilyn. At this moment, she felt a deep sense of foreboding.

Yuna, seething with anger, felt wronged. Not only did she not get a car, but she also had been scolded all morning! All because of Sherilyn!
