Gilbert was practically carried back to the Blue Haven mansion, flanked by his bodyguard and Nolan.
"What happened here?"
Naylor was shocked at the sight of his son's bloodied and mangled left hand, glaring at Nolan.
"I asked you to stick with Mr. Nine, and this is how you handle it? Useless!"
Nolan didn't dare argue, merely admitting, "It's my fault!"
"What exactly happened?"
"Let me explain..."
Gilbert, pale with a tinge of green, had his severed finger temporarily bandaged to stop the bleeding.
"Out with it!"
"One is back..."
"What?"
Naylor's eyes widened in astonishment, "You cut off your own finger for a girl? What were you thinking!"
Gilbert laughed coldly, "She's my daughter, not just some random girl!"
Then he shook his head, "Forget it, why am I even explaining? How could someone as cold-hearted as you understand?"
"You..."
Naylor was speechless, managing only a laugh of frustration. His youngest son was clearly resenting him.
"Ah!"
The pain hit Gilbert again, causing him to close his eyes tightly and shiver.
Naylor sighed, shaking his head, "Nine, do you have any idea how much trouble you've made for yourself by leaving the boss in Sunhaven?"
"Sir! Mr. Nine's hand needs immediate attention!"
"What are you waiting for?"
Naylor clenched his teeth, "Hurry up! Take me to the boss! We need to retrieve Nine's finger!"
"Yes, sir!"

Hospital.
The doctor gave Jenna a full examination, confirming she wasn't injured but had overdosed on sleeping pills.
For a child, the dosage was excessive.
However, since it wasn't a long-term intake but a one-off, it wouldn't cause permanent damage.
To be safe, she needed to be hospitalized for observation.
