Chapter 232
Jenny walked into the room. Upon seeing the scene, she couldn’t help but smile with a sense of contentment.
It felt as if everything had returned to the way it was before, perhaps even more heartwarming than before.
“Mrs. Sinclair, breakfast is ready.”
“Okay.” Anathea finished up her morning routine and headed downstairs with Xander.
The table was set with a delicate breakfast spread, but there were only two sets of utensils.
“Mr. Sinclair left early this morning and didn’t have breakfast,” Bella explained.
Anathea nodded, acknowledging the information. She wasn’t going to ask anyway.

Xander quickly finished his breakfast. As the driver arrived to take him to school, he reluctantly took Anathea’s hand. “I want Mom to take me to school!”
Anathea paused, then looked at Xander.
Just recently, he’d thought she was unfit to be seen with him, so he’d asked the driver to take him instead.
But now, he was holding her hand with both of his, shaking it and acting cute. “I want to stay with you a little longer, Mom. Is that okay?”
He hadn’t spent much time with Anathea lately. Even though she’d stayed with him last night, it still didn’t feel like enough.
Seeing the pleading look on his innocent face, Anathea couldn’t bring herself to refuse. “Alright.”
“Yay!” Xander cheered. He quickly grabbed his backpack and obediently followed her.
Anathea drove him to school. This was the first time she’d taken him there since he began going to school.
Xander was thrilled and waved goodbye to her. “Goodbye, Mom!”
Anathea smiled softly and watched him go in. As she did, she caught a glimpse of a familiar figure entering the school gates.
The little girl was dressed in a sweet yet edgy style, with a punk character keychain hanging from her backpack, just the way Chloe always liked it.
“Chloe?” Anathea’s eyes widened in surprise.
What was Chloe doing here? But when she looked again, the figure had disappeared.
Anathea figured she must have been mistaken. After all, Chloe had always gone to school at Syntherra. How could she suddenly be at Castenea? And Hannah hadn’t mentioned anything about a transfer either.
Anathea didn’t dwell on it. She got back into the car and headed straight to Eden Studio.
As soon as she walked in, she saw everyone busy at work, with a large number of flower samples scattered around the floor.
Evangeline, rarely stepping in herself, looked relieved when she saw Anathea. She waved her over. “Nat, you’re finally here!”
“Why such a big order?” Anathea glanced at the purchase sheet, which was filled with names of various types of flowers. Even the names themselves took up ten pages. But the biggest order was for blue roses.
“Don’t even get me started. I asked Lena to help expand our business, and she somehow managed to land an order from the Harrington family’s heir!”
Anathea quickly understood. Theo’s order explained the busy atmosphere.
She quickly stepped in to help. The company was still in its early stages, and since they only had a small group of staff, Anathea often had to pitch in and help out.
