After angrily storming out of the party, Gregory had Dexter drop him off at Drunk Elysium, also known as a high–end red–light establishment in Castenea.
True to its namesake, Drunk Elysium offered premium alcoholic beverages along with equally pretium female escorts.
Upon entering the establishment, countless patrons would find themselves lost in paradise and getting drunk not just on liquor but sweet dreams.
And yet, Gregory ordered only drinks as he staked a seal at the bar owning glass after glass. A group of beautiful women who were drawn by his exceptional looks had already swarmed around him, betting on who would succeed in conquering him for the night.
In the end, a stunning beauty confidently approached Gregory and stopped before him. “Hey, handsome. You alone?”
She was half leaning over the bar counter, her face covered in a layer of delicately applied makeup. Her sultry, cat–like eyes and her smile were loaded with all kinds of invitation.
“Would you like to have a drink with me?”
As she spoke, she tossed her hair over her shoulder to reveal the deep plunge of her neckline, subtly showing off her ample cleavage.
Any normal man would have jumped at the chance to drink with her, but Gregory barely looked up from his drink to glance at her as he bit out frostily, “Go away!”
Startled by Gregory’s terse and intimidating demeanor, the gorgeous woman sheepishly slinked away.
A moment later, someone snaked a hand over Gregory’s knee and gave it a not–so–innocent squeeze.
Gregory’s face darkened immediately as he glared at the person who’d come up to him, wanting nothing more than to chop off the person’s offensive hand.
“What, you won’t let me feel you up just because you’re angry?” Abright male voice sounded.
It wasn’t until Gregory got a good look at the man who’d appeared beside him that his face softened slightly.
“What are you doing here? I didn’t know cripples came here for drinks.”
“Who said cripples can’t come here?” Adrian chuckled flippantly. “I run this place, and I specially brought that wine you’re drinking back from Château Lafette.”
Drunk Elysium was owned by the Millers–more specifically, by Adrian. He had the bartender pour him a glass.
He swirled the wine in the glass and remarked, “You know, Château Lafette only produced two bottles of this wine this year. One of them was given to the royal family as a diplomatic gift.”
And the other was now being savored by Gregory and Adrian.
Gregory sipped the wine and snorted. “When did you become so generous? Changed your behavior, have you?”
Normally, Adrian was stingy beyond help.
“I changed nothing; I’m simply looking out for the broken–hearted.” A faint smile curved Adrian’s lips. “What a good drink can’t cure, there is no cure for, or so the saying goes. A fine wine such as this will do your sorrows some good, Mr.
“Who said I was heartbroken?” Gregory frowned, sounding displeased.

“It’s obvious.” Adrian shrugged, glancing at him. “Everyone saw low you got into a fight with Theo over Ms. Jacobson at the party,”
