Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1005
“Mr. Lynch, after the preliminary diagnosis, they are showing signs of being poisoned.“
When the family doctor came, he checked up on Granny Lynch and observed the two children. His conclusion was, “Even if they were not poisoned, they must have eaten food that produced toxins. Their symptoms were a reaction to food poisoning.“
Joshua furrowed his brows tightly.
Poisoned? Food that produced toxins? How did this happen?
Fiona and Luna made the meal together. Although Fiona was not great at cooking, Luna was a pro. How could such a thing happen?
“This is according to my diagnosis. I have already called an ambulance over, but it’s the suburbs, so we might have to wait a while.“
Then, the doctor looked at the feast on the dining table. “Were you having dinner just now?“
Joshua nodded. “Yes.“
“Then, let me use the time to check the food on the table.“
The doctor sighed and took the first aid kit next to the table. “It would be best if I could find out what the poison was.“
Fiona’s eyes instantly widened upon the doctor’s words.
He was going to check the food on the table? Fiona bit her lips and immediately walked over. She wanted to take the Grilled Cajun Shrimp away.
She barely touched that dish when she was stopped by the doctors.
He furrowed his brows. “Ms. Blake, what are you trying to do?“
Fiona suppressed the frantic in her heart. She smiled and said, “You’re going to check the food on the table to find out why Granny Lynch’s tummy hurt. No one touched this dish at all. I ‘m taking it away to lighten your load.“
Luna, who had been massaging Nellie’s tummy by the side, flatly looked at her. “Ms. Blake, how thoughtful of you. Those who know you might see that you’re thoughtful and caring, helping the doctor lighten his workload. Those that don’t know any better would think that you have done something to the dish and you’re afraid that people might find out, so you’re destroying the evidence.“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
