Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1017
“A small matter?“
Joshua turned around. His deep, endless gaze bore into Fiona. “If Luna did not predict what you were about to do last night and intentionally added lots of crushed peanuts into the Grilled Cajun Shrimp, do you know what the ending would be!?“
He slowly approached Fiona. His voice was as cold and sharp as his tone. “You were the one that prepared the poison. You knew that it would kill an elderly! “
Joshua reached out and clasped Fiona’s chin. His gaze was so cold it could free Antarctica over. “I never had a mother since I was young. My dad was always not around. I was brought up by my grandmother.
“Granny Lynch used to dislike Luna. She used to dislike all the women by my side, but even if they were being targeted by Granny Lynch, they would never think to kill an eighty-year-old elderly woman!
“Fiona, I always thought that you were kind and gentle. How could you do such a thing? This time, you dared to do such a thing to the elderly to frame Luna. If I don’t send you away and let you continue staying with Granny Lynch and the children, who would be your next victim?“
Joshua flung her away violently. “Because you saved Nigel before, the Lynch family owe you a life, so I won’t announce to the public that you and I had split up and you have moved out, to let you have some dignity.
“If you think that this is just a small matter and you can’t even see what you have done wrong, I should just send you back abroad to where you should be! “
Then, Joshua turned and left.
Fiona bit her lips and immediately got up from the sofa. She ran to the entrance and grabbed Joshua’s arms.
“Joshua! “ Tears streamed down her face. “Joshua, you can’t treat me that way…
“Have you forgotten, you swore that you would accompany me till the end of my life. I’m a sick patient, you can’t…“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
