Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1024
Fiona’s face instantly turned pale upon Luna’s words. She bit her lips and said in a low and aggrieved tone. “I ‘m here to apologize. Last night was indeed my fault. I should not have…poisoned the dish.“
Fiona lowered her head. Her voice was feeble yet aggrieved. “I did not sleep well last night. I regret my actions a lot. Thank goodness you know Granny Lynch is allergic to peanuts, that’s why you put so much crushed peanuts in that dish. If not, if Granny Lynch were to eat the dish that I poisoned. I…would have already regretted it for life! “
Fiona said while wiping her tears away. “So, Luna, I’m here not only to apologize to you. I came here to thank you too. I almost made the worst mistake of my life.“
Then, she subconsciously looked at Joshua in the distance with the corner of her eyes.
Once she noticed that Joshua had already put out his cigarette and was talking on the phone, she narrowed her eyes a little and continued, “If I really killed Granny Lynch, what would happen to Joshua’s child in my womb…“
Luna furrowed her brows a little at Fiona’s words. She looked at Fiona’s flat tummy and sneered, “ You’re pregnant?“
“Hmm…“ Fiona lied shamelessly without missing a beat. “I found out after I passed out last night.“
Fiona said while placing her hand on her abdomen as if she really had a child.
“It’s still early. I have not told Joshua yet. You should know that I ‘m ill. I still don’t know how to tell him. I want to give birth to this child. Although I did not tell him about the child, I told him that I would move out from the Orchard Manor.“
Then, she sighed, “Although Nellie and Nigel are good kids, what if one day they were instigated by someone to push me down. It would be a huge loss then.
“Joshua respects my opinion a lot. The moment I told him I did not want to continue staying in Orchard Manor with the kids and Granny Lynch, he agreed with me and moved me to the hotel.“
Luna narrowed her eyes and crossed her arms.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
