Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 1149
“Okay, I’m back home. Let’s discuss this again in the afternoon.“
Hanging up Anne’s call, Luna collected her thoughts and entered the villa. Usually, at this moment, the villa should be in a lively atmosphere. Nigel and Nellie would bug Joshua to have breakfast together, Nellie would be cheeky during breakfast. She would be able to make Nigel and Joshua, who were usually quiet, laugh.
However, that day, the living room was extremely quiet. The food on the dining table had been finished, there was no sign of Nigel, Nellie, or Joshua in the living room.
Luna furrowed her brows. She and Lily placed the groceries in the kitchen, while she asked the butler.
“Ma’am, you don’t know about this…“
The butler sighed and said in a suppressed tone, “ Not long after you left, Mr. Lynch did indeed have breakfast with Nigel and Nellie, but not long after, three uninvited guests showed up. Master Lynch brought his current wife and illegitimate son over, yelling at Mr. Lynch about getting engaged with you without notifying them…
“Nigel and Nellie had a few mouthfuls before heading upstairs. Mr. Lynch…was extremely unhappy because of them. He is currently working on the study.“
Then, the butler looked at Luna meaningfully. “Do you want to go check on him? He is still weak, yet he got so angry, it might…“
The butler has not finished his sentence when Luna already took off her coat and threw it to Lily. She went upstairs. “I’ll go have a look.“
Standing in the living area looking at Luna’s anxious yet efficient actions, Lily sighed and turned to look at the butler.
“Say, do you think Ma’am really doesn’t like Mr. Lynch?“
The butler scratched his head. “We should not speculate about our master’s lives.“
Lily pursed her lips. She hung up Luna’s coat and wanted to continue her work in the kitchen when a message popped up on her phone.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
